swim new people that did drugs at a point, and one of them was a good friend for many years. It seemed when he would hang around these people virus would pop up on my computer weird shit would happen. later he got a newer laptop and had an aquaintence come over that was some how tied to these other people loosely.. maybe not loosely. anyways he comes over and ask if i want to watch a movie on my laptop and hands me a thumb drive, I being to put it in but dont put it in all the way (like i didnt push it in all the way where the files on the thumb drive would pop up) i made an excuse why i didnt want to do that... and he kinda smiled... like he new why i did want to do it.
Am i being paranoid? how would i know if i got badUSB'd? just a couple hours before this event another friend was over who i don't think has any association to my knowledge with these people. He asked to use my wifi and i freaked out and told him no way eventually kicking him out of my house.

how far would you have to slip in a thumb drive to make "contact" with a computer? just slight touch ? halfway in? all the way?
